How to use an issued invoice as reference

Review a previous issued invoice's client and lines when creating similar billing.

When repeat work uses the same customer and pricing, open the original issued invoice to copy client and line details. See how to duplicate an invoice and how to start a new invoice.

Review the reference invoice

  1. Open SalesInvoices.
  2. Open the issued invoice you want to reuse.
  3. Note client, line descriptions, quantities, VAT, and totals.

Create the next invoice

  1. Select Create invoice.
  2. Choose the same client and replicate line items.
  3. Adjust dates and amounts for the new billing period before issuing.
